We are pleased to announce the world premiere broadcast of Ben & Izzy in 2008, the Layalina sponsored children’s animated series produced by Rubicon of Jordan, on MBC3, the Dubai based leading Pan-Arab free-to-air satellite channel.

The 13 half-hour episodes aired in primetime in the Middle East and North Africa during the first 13 days of the month of Ramadan, when television viewership reaches its yearly peak.

Ben & Izzy focuses on the budding friendship of two pre-teen boys, one from Jordan and one from the United States, as a metaphor for acceptance and tolerance. Their exciting journey takes them back in time, where they meet historical figures and must overcome incredible difficulties while learning to work together. Through their adventures, Ben and Izzy grow to appreciate each other and their respective cultures. The lesson from each episode is that "ultimately we don’t have to be the same to get along!"
